If you want to start setting up some residual income streams and thinking and acting like the rich do then you are going to need to develop a mentality of being a bit unbreakable. You see what happens to many people that try and get into the money making game is when a problem comes up it’s a bit overwhelming to them and often causes them to give up. What you’re going to need to do if you want to build passive income is start thinking of problems not as problems but more as opportunities.
Ok I admit that last line might not sound to full proof to you so let me clarify it for you. What I mean is when you are studying and applying new things that you have learned about earning money don’t give up easily when things don’t go the way you’d like them to.

Now that is a major task and if I look at what I actually have to do to get it to the point that I just mentioned then I should just give up right now. But you know what? I won’t and I figure I can do it. Why? Because I’m looking at it day by day. Of course I won’t make money off it any time soon but if I keep building day by day then down the road money is going to come in. If it doesn’t, well then I’ll just move on to another idea.
If you really want to set up a stream of residual income in terms of business chances or opportunities then you can’t let obstacles or problems slow you down. Once you decide on something don’t let anything get in your way. If a small problem comes up, crush it and move on. If a big problem comes up find a way to deal with it. There are lots of forces out there that will try to stop you from reaching financial freedom. There is one simple remedy to stop those forces – don’t let them stop you, remember that!
One of the most powerful ways to get into setting up your own residual income business is by doing it with a partner or the help of others. If you start developing your ideas and opportunities with people that you trust and respect, can work with, and have something to offer you then you’ll really start to see your efforts paying off and you’ll actually get a lot of work done.
There are many reasons why I recommend linking up and working with partners or other talented people. Many entrepreneurs that start out trying to learn how to build passive income businesses and opportunities work really hard but try and do everything themselves. This is fine and if you work very hard you will see success but if you work in a team you may see much quicker results and also the work may be achieved with more ease.

Writing, design, coding, promotion, marketing, branding, etc. You need to look at the list that you come up with and ask yourself what do you enjoy doing and also what are you good at. For the areas you are not so good at ideally you’ll try and find a partner to do it or at least hire someone out for some outsourcing. I can tell you that recently I’ve been getting into outsourcing some of my business research and writing for some of my money making websites and it works great!
Sure, if you’re just starting to get into making a residual income business work for you then trying to do many of the tasks alone is a great way to learn and I recommend it for sure. What I would like you to think about after you start to earn some money or feel that you are getting too busy with your current project is ask yourself “how you can I enlist in the help of others in a way that will benefit my business?”
If you ask me how I’ve been able to start to build residual income into my life I’ll tell you that it has mostly been through motivation. If you are seriously thinking about getting into the residual income business then you need to make sure that you have lots of motivation in your toolbox. I truly believe that it is essential to succeeding in this game.
So how do you go about gaining the motivation that is necessary in order to have good opportunities come your way? That’s a good question and one that I was pondering for so long before I saw any kind of passive income getting generated in my life. Well let me talk about a few of the methods I have used over the last year or so that I really feel made a big difference in my life and levels of motivation.
The first step in gaining the kind of motivation that you will need to get into this residual income business is to start reading many books on the subject. A couple that I would recommend hands down that really got me started are Think and Grow Rich by napoleon hill, Secrets of the Millionaire Mind by T. Harv Eker, and then Beyond Positive Thinking by Dr. Robert Anthony. Of course there are thousands of great books out there that discuss all of this as well as how to gain and maintain high levels of motivation but these three I’ve personally read, some many times, and they have definitely helped me in my quest.
One word of advice after you read this you need to make sure that you take time to actually read the books you’ve purchased and don’t let dust collect like so many people do. I myself a few years ago would get excited about a subject order a few books and then two months later they were still sitting on the shelf not even opened. If you’re serious and want to take the first step and build residual income then you are going to need to push yourself to get into reading all about passive income streams and how to achieve them. I guarantee you that once you get into reading these books you won’t be able to stop and your motivational levels will start to sore.
