Make Residual Income through Focusing on Actions

Today I want to talk about how your actions whether big or small directly reflect your business success levels and as well as your ability to make residual income or not. A while back I was doing a small online free course developed by the legendary Mark Joyner called Simpleology. Although I never completed the full course and online videos there was one point that I took from the part of the course I did complete that has really stood out in my mind and has worked wonders in my life and path towards earning passive income online.

At one point Mr. Joyner is talking about the results of “actions” and “inactions”. From what I understood of this principle every waking minute of our lives we choose how to spend our time. How we spend our time will directly affect our success levels, the businesses we set up, and in the case of this blog the residual income that you make or don’t make.

Now I know you might be saying of course if I spend my time wisely I can do great things. Yes I agree but the cool thing that I took and have applied to my life and income opportunities is now I’m always considering every minute as wasted time if I don’t do something towards my actual wealth and success goals.

Let me give you an example. I’m currently doing some business and living out in Japan and in this country you spend a lot of time taking trains. Until I really understood this point of action and inaction I would often just sit on the trains and zone out or just listen to music. Neither of those will do wonders for my income and success efforts will they?

What I do now almost every time I’m on the train is spend time getting through the countless books on passive income, online marketing, business opportunities, and so on. So I have turned what was before wasted time into “study” time that I need to be doing anyway in order to reach the goals I have set for myself.

So today’s post can be applied to your residual income success or failure the way I see it. Why don’t you take some time over the next week or so and carefully consider how you are spending your waking hours. For example if you’re sitting at a bus stop are you just watching cars pass by or could you be reading or using your laptop? Or when you’re watching TV after dinner tonight could that TV possibly be a DVD on how to make web wealth or live positively?

Anyway just some food for thought and I’d love to hear what you guys think about this concept. Also let me know if you have applied this kind of thinking to your lives in anyway and if so, has it helped you become more successful in the offline or online opportunities that you’re working on what you’re currently working on?

Set up a Residual Income Stream with the Help of Others

One of the most powerful ways to get into setting up your own residual income business is by doing it with a partner or the help of others. If you start developing your ideas and opportunities with people that you trust and respect, can work with, and have something to offer you then you’ll really start to see your efforts paying off and you’ll actually get a lot of work done.

There are many reasons why I recommend linking up and working with partners or other talented people. Many entrepreneurs that start out trying to learn how to build passive income businesses and opportunities work really hard but try and do everything themselves. This is fine and if you work very hard you will see success but if you work in a team you may see much quicker results and also the work may be achieved with more ease.

Let’s take a small example. If you want to start to make income online and set up a new blog or affiliate program website what are some of the things you’ll need? Writing, design, coding, promotion, marketing, branding, etc. You need to look at the list that you come up with and ask yourself what do you enjoy doing and also what are you good at. For the areas you are not so good at ideally you’ll try and find a partner to do it or at least hire someone out for some outsourcing. I can tell you that recently I’ve been getting into outsourcing some of my business research and writing for some of my money making websites and it works great!

Sure, if you’re just starting to get into making a residual income business work for you then trying to do many of the tasks alone is a great way to learn and I recommend it for sure. What I would like you to think about after you start to earn some money or feel that you are getting too busy with your current project is ask yourself “how you can I enlist in the help of others in a way that will benefit my business?”

Starting Residual Income Business Opportunities

These days because of the amount of business going on over the Internet, developing a quality residual income business is not as hard as it used to once be. Building residual income is something that is worth striving for and some people are able to achieve it faster then others but if you constantly work at it, it will come.

There are a few qualities that I’d like to speak about that you will need if you are serious and would really like to earn residual income for life. First things first let’s get this straight right from the beginning. You cannot be lazy and you’ll often need to put in some solid work and learning from the beginning.

Unfortunately there are more and more people online these days trying to convince you and me that they can help us some money while sitting on a beach in Thailand and checking a few emails. See there is a catch with most of these so called passive income gurus – the only money they make is from selling products to people like you that may be really desperately in need of making extra money.

Let’s get one thing clear from the start. To develop a residual income business that actually has a solid foundation and will work for you into the future you need to take time, have patience, and learn a lot about the different opportunities and programs out there.

I can say for me it took about 6 months of almost daily study of books, courses, websites, reading of magazines and more to make my first few dollars and start earning my residual income. To this day I’ll be honest. I’m still not raking in the money but I can say that every morning when I wake up after sleeping I have a few more dollars in my account – that feeling is honestly amazing!
