Wealth Creation Process – Make it a Habit

Posted on December 10th, 2008 in Making Passive Income Online, Residual Income Business, Successful Thinking & Strategies | 1 Comment »

As all my readers are here to learn about making residual income and also wealth creation, Tonight I thought I’d talk about some of the things we need to consider when we’re getting into building wealth and success.

First of all as I have said many times most solid passive income opportunities actually take some time to develop properly. Let’s call this wealth building process a habit and start looking at it like that. Take for example fitness. How many of us actually feel good about our current physical state? I’ll be the first to admit that physically I’m not where I want to be but I slowly work towards that.

Well earning passive income is no different. Most of us are not where we want to be when it comes to our current financial situation. But just like fitness, the people who work at it everyday and take a step by step approach to achieving success are the same people likely to get to a point where they are financially “fit” and all they’ll have to do at that point is maintain it.

So remember whether you’re trying to set up passive income streams online or wanting to learn about how to invest in the stock market set up a habit where you are consistently working towards that final goal. Sure it’s not going to be easy, especially as you start out getting into the habit but is it going to be worth it in the long run? Hell yeah. So I suggest making it a daily routine to train your mind on how to earn passive income.

Below is a list of just a few examples you can work on daily that I like to call success exercises. Of course you can make your own list or add to this one but I just wanted to get your started!

  • Read books on investing, passive income, internet business, sales, persuasion, success, motivation.
  • Read blogs and websites on the same above topic.
  • Take some action on some of the things you are reading about.
  • Find a success coach or mentor to work with.
  • Seek out a business partner that is willing to start up a new business opportunity.
  • Work on your website business (if you have one)
  • Post to your blog (if you have one)
  • Go build links to your website (if you have one)
  • Don’t watch TV!

Set up a Residual Income Stream with the Help of Others

One of the most powerful ways to get into setting up your own residual income business is by doing it with a partner or the help of others. If you start developing your ideas and opportunities with people that you trust and respect, can work with, and have something to offer you then you’ll really start to see your efforts paying off and you’ll actually get a lot of work done.

There are many reasons why I recommend linking up and working with partners or other talented people. Many entrepreneurs that start out trying to learn how to build passive income businesses and opportunities work really hard but try and do everything themselves. This is fine and if you work very hard you will see success but if you work in a team you may see much quicker results and also the work may be achieved with more ease.

Let’s take a small example. If you want to start to make income online and set up a new blog or affiliate program website what are some of the things you’ll need? Writing, design, coding, promotion, marketing, branding, etc. You need to look at the list that you come up with and ask yourself what do you enjoy doing and also what are you good at. For the areas you are not so good at ideally you’ll try and find a partner to do it or at least hire someone out for some outsourcing. I can tell you that recently I’ve been getting into outsourcing some of my business research and writing for some of my money making websites and it works great!

Sure, if you’re just starting to get into making a residual income business work for you then trying to do many of the tasks alone is a great way to learn and I recommend it for sure. What I would like you to think about after you start to earn some money or feel that you are getting too busy with your current project is ask yourself “how you can I enlist in the help of others in a way that will benefit my business?”

Make Online Income by Focusing On Each Site

Posted on November 19th, 2008 in Making Passive Income Online, Residual Income Business, SEO For Bloggers, Successful Thinking & Strategies | No Comments »

We all want to make online income and get excited about it when we start out. One common mistake that many beginners in this exciting game start to do is they build way too many websites to handle. Now don’t get me wrong here, having a bunch of websites is recommended and a great business model to follow. If you do that it means you’re setting up more and more internet residual income business opportunities. What I’m trying to say here is if you are building multiple websites to make sure that you at least set up a basic checklist for each website that you try out to see what kind of results you get before you move on to developing your next passive income yielding website!

So what exactly do I mean by doing them properly and how do you actually go about setting up a website that can produce passive income for you? Well you need to cover the bases with each of your sites that you actually want to do well with.

Some steps I like to follow for new websites are the following:
• Spend time on each site selecting your keywords that you will go after.
• Choose a good domain name preferably with your keywords in it and if possible, buy yourself an aged domain name.
• Write some keyword related articles/posts (at least 10 or more pages). These posts should be SEO optimized.
• Install the free Stat Counter Software
• Start building those links! Article marketing, blog roll exchanges, commenting, etc.

At the beginning stage there is no need to focus too heavily on the design. If your site starts to get a bunch of traffic at that time you can put more time and energy in to the graphic design side of things. If your site really doesn’t work out for you then at least you won’t have wasted tons of time on doing up a design that doesn’t help produce the income you are going after.

There is no doubt that not all your sites will turn out to be income producing machines but some of them will definitely have potential. What I usually like to do is spend some time on the above list for each website and then start up my next. After about 2 or 3 months if you did your keyword research right, did proper SEO optimization and followed the above tips you should start to see some traffic. If not at that point you can continue to try and work on developing your website or you can leave it for the time being and work on more promising websites. From personal experience some sites will start getting traffic quicker then others.

So if you are actually serious about making an income online and turning this into a true business opportunity then you really need to perform the above to each website you build to see if it has potential. There is no problem in having a bunch of sites that you are working on but make sure that if you want to see the true potential at least follow the basic steps outlined above!

Online Passive Income Ideas - Keyword Targeting

We all know that to make a good income online we need good traffic coming to our websites and blogs. If you play the game correctly this internet web traffic will turn into residual income streams that will continue to grow as long as you maintain what you have built and keep working those keywords!

So how do you know what keywords people are using to find your current website? Well I recommend using a free tool called Stat Counter. I really love it and use it to track statistics of any and all of my websites. It has a bunch of cool features like how many visitors you’ve received, detailed visitor information, browser statistics, what page they exited on and more. But when it comes to building up my SEO I really like to use their keyword features.

In Stat Counter they have what is called the “keyword analysis” and “recent keyword activity”. This is where things get really interesting in terms of SEO and earning income online. You will be able to see what words people are using to find your website as well as a list of how many times each term has been used to find your website.

So let me give you an example. Say your website is about “making money on the Internet”. You might start to notice that many of the people coming to your site through search engines are finding you through the term “make cash on the web”. What often happens is you aren’t even going after that term but the search engines are ranking you high for that.

Here is the juicy part. What I then do is make a small list of the words people are using to find my site and then start using them in my site. Ways that you can use them is write some posts with the keywords in the title, add the keywords as tags if you’re using word press, and also inside posts that you write make that new keyword an anchored link back to your homepage or better yet the post that relates to it. You can also start using these new found keywords in your article marketing efforts.

So if you’re taking your online residual income business seriously then you really need to start learning more about how your users are interacting with your website or blog and also how they are finding you. Once you start to use the above technique you will really start to notice your current online income grow as well as your site traffic!

Passive Residual Income – The Mindset You Need

Posted on November 5th, 2008 in Residual Income Business, Successful Thinking & Strategies | No Comments »

If you want to build up a passive residual income then you are going to have to re-wire the way you think about income in general. Basically there is a difference between rich and poor people in many different ways. I’m not saying this to put poor people down I’m just saying that the way the two think about income and financial matters is usually a lot different. In order to build up a successful residual income business then what you’re going to need to start doing is trying to think a bit more like rich people.

What I want to talk about is a concept that I studied a bit from T. Harv Eker. He speaks about the comfort zone and levels of conformability between the rich and the poor mindset. You see rich people don’t mind working really hard and making some sacrifices in order to reach their goals.

I can say that in my case I am definitely not rich yet, but making money is one of my main goals for the next few years and I I have changed my lifestyle and am doing some uncomfortable actions. I wake up everyday at 7am and start working by 8am at the latest. Yes even on weekends I do this. I also don’t go out all the time and eat and drink with friends. Of course I want to but you know what I know that in order to actually create passive income I need to do this for a while and just focus.

A person with the poor mind state or thinking will always think about relaxing and being comfortable first and foremost. So that means that when they finish their job for the day they go home, to a bar, or restaurant and just start unwinding until the next day comes. This is fine and you deserve to take it easy after a hard days work but if you really want a chance to succeed and reach your financial goals then you need to change this pattern of thinking.

So if you take anything from this article I want you to know that while you are on your journey of creating residual income that you probably will need to make some personal sacrifices. This could mean giving up a bit of your social life, not sleeping in much, and working a few hours when you get home from your day job. But think of the alternatives for a moment. If you love your current life and financial situation than relaxing and chilling out is great. But if you really want to take control of your life and build a truly residual income then it’s time to tie up your boots and jump in full throttle – once you’re into it it’s really not that bad, trust me!

A Home Based Business Passive Income

If you want to start earning and develop your own home based business residual income then you’ll need to develop some key characteristics and follow them strictly. Many people hear about passive residual income business and opportunities and want to quickly get involved in them but have no real clue what it takes or what direction they are going towards.

The first thing that I recommend is that you need to decide that you’re willing and able to put time into learning about. You’ll need to study up on all the ins and outs of how people go about building a residual income sources. I understand that many of you have full time jobs, families to feed, and bills to pay. Well I can tell you so does everybody. If you really want to make this happen for yourself then you’ll need to make a time commitment of at least 10 hours per week towards learning about and then implementing strategies related to passive income generation.

Another thing I want to talk about is selecting the information that you decide to consume on this topic each day. There is so much garbage out their in the world trying to teach us all about the best methods of reaching success but the truth is that most of it is pure trash! If you sign up for every newsletter, bookmark every blog, or order every course you’ll not only waste time, money, and valuable energy, but you’ll end of feeling like you’ve gotten no where in terms of your

Find yourself some trusted names in this field like Robert Kiyosaki, and Robert Allen and then read and follow as much of their advice as you can. These guys are masters of making passive income streams and also are great at teaching about them because they have direct experience and have succeeded. Also find a few website blogs that teach about the method of income generation that you are pursuing and study/follow these couple of blogs daily.

The bottom line is when you are starting out learning about all the different residual income business opportunities out there you need to be very selective in the amount of information you decide to consume. Find a few good sources, study them, and then most importantly implement them meaning take action if you want to see results!
